Santorini has two sides very different from one another. The west side (Caldera) is craggy and offers the magnificent views our island is famous for. The east and south parts of the island are flat, and this is where all the beaches are located.
At the northern part of Santorini you will find Oia Village, which you should visit preferably during day time, so you can enjoy the picturesque scenery. Oia Village is famous for its sunset views, but the ideal place to admire a direct sunset view - apart from our Hotel - is in fact Fira Town or Imerovigli Village. The Lighthouse located close to Akrotiri Village is an amazing place as well.
Our Hotel is located in Megalochori, a small village with high expectations! A paradise of wine! Three important wineries of the Island are located here: Gavalas, Boutaris & Venetsanos! Stroll along the square, admire the lacey steeples, and discover traditional tastes at the original local restaurants!
In Fira, the island’s main city, you will be able to visit several museums, shops for souvenirs and walk around the cobblestone roads. From the old port of Fira you can catch a traditional boat to visit the volcano and the Hot Springs.
At the south, you will be able to visit the site of Prehistoric Akrotiri and combine it with a visit to the Red Beach &the Lighthouse.
